How We Support You

Psychiatric Care Built Around You

Our Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Comprehensive evaluations to better understand your symptoms, arrive at an accurate diagnosis, and create an individualized treatment plan.

Medication Management & Follow-Up Care

Ongoing appointments to monitor progress, discuss side effects, adjust medications if needed & provide supportive therapy to support your long-term mental health.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Your First Appointment

Your first appointment is a chance to step back and understand the full picture of your mental health. We’ll review your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, past diagnoses and treatments, medications, and lifestyle factors.

We’ll explore how your symptoms have developed over time, how they affect your daily life, and any contributing factors. From there, we can discuss possible diagnoses, answer your questions, explore treatment options, and create clear, realistic next steps based on your needs, preferences, and goals.

Your first appointment is designed to provide:

  • A comprehensive psychiatric & medical history
  • Thoughtful assessment of your symptoms and concerns
  • Diagnostic evaluation & clarification, when appropriate
  • Review of previous treatments, medications & response
  • Personalized, evidence-based treatment recommendations
  • Time for questions & shared decision-making
  • A clear plan for next steps

Ongoing Medication Management

Follow-Up Appointments

Follow-up visits give us space to assess how you’re feeling, monitor symptoms and treatment response, discuss what’s changed, and make adjustments along the way. We can review meds and side effects, talk through life challenges, revisit diagnoses & consider new medical information.

The frequency and length of follow-ups can change over time based on what you need. We may meet more frequently during medication changes or challenging periods, and less often as things become more stable — whether biweekly, monthly, every few months, or somewhere in between.

Ongoing care may include:

  • Medication management, monitoring & adjustments
  • Symptom & treatment-response assessment
  • Supportive therapy & coping strategies
  • Review of relevant lab work or test results
  • Hormonal changes, perimenopause & menopause
  • Nutritional, supplements & lifestyle considerations
  • Integrative & whole-person approaches
  • Ongoing diagnostic & treatment planning
  • School or workplace accommodations, leave-of-absence or FMLA discussions and planning, when clinically appropriate
